Yummy Jobs Testimonials
Jason Li
Life Guard
J1 Academic Program
I currently live in The Netherlands, but I am originally from China. During this year I worked on the International College Program for the Summer 2010 as a Lifeguard in the Typhoon Lagoon water park. During my program I loved the sunny weather, friendly fellows, and just the entire program was fantastic overall! I love Orlando and I love Disney World. During my summer the best part of my role were the guests at Walt Disney World, especially when they thanked me for doing my job.
I would recommend this program because the endless learning, fun times, magic, and being able to perform that magical service to all the guests of Walt Disney World. And would I recommend Yummy Jobs? A Big YES! Yummy Jobs provided me with a great guest service to help my Disney Dream come true!

Well, this is it! I'm leaving for Florida in 11 days - I can't believe it's finally here!
But before I go, I wanted to email you quickly to thank you for all that you've done for me!
It's been a long process, but you've been there for me every step of the way, and I truly appreciate it.
I've said time and time again that I'm very lucky that I have someone as wonderful as you helping me out in my adventures, and I'll say it again and again! Thank you for being so wonderful. Thank you for answering all my questions quickly and efficently, it means a lot to me!
I will surely be emailing you once I arrive in Disney (when I get some time) just to let you know that I have arrived, and that everything is good. And I hope to keep you updated when I'm down there.
Once again, thank you for all that you have done, and it was such a pleasure meeting you at the Disney interviews! You are one of the kindest people I've ever met, and I'm so happy I got to meet you!
Thank you so much!

I should take this moment to actually thank you. Believe it or not I thought about you throughout my program and my trek back home. You are there to answer our questions, network future cast members and organize all our paper work and then once we get to Disney the correspondence (descends). I really appreciate all your hard work and the dedication you put into Yummy Jobs and Canadian/UK candidates to make our transition is as smooth as possible. I am so grateful.

Cultural Representative Program 2009-2010
I took part in the Cultural Representative Program from February 2009 to April 2010 as the permanent assigner in the Rose and Crown in Epcot! This was my second program (the first being the J1-Academic program) and even though I had doubts about it being as amazing as the first one, especially being in a different park in a totally different role, I can honestly say I've had the time of my life. I've enjoyed being in WDW and making that famous Disney magic I was born to make! I have also enjoyed meeting and living with participants from countries all over the world, and sharing my culture with them! This has taught me that no matter how similar countries may seem, they differ immensely with regards to how they live. And it has also given me many new friends!
The best part of my role has to have been the responsibility I was given and the respect of everyone I worked with. As an assigner I decided where parties would sit, and as such I had to manage the restaurant floor. Having never had this level of responsibility before, I was able to push myself further than I had ever been able to, and as the months went past I was able to challenge myself. Working at the Rose and Crown was like working with family; it had its ups and downs but in the end we all got along and helped each other out.
I would definitely recommend this program to others. It is nothing like I've ever done and you get to learn so much about yourself. There are opportunities to become a trainer and learn a lot about The Walt Disney Company by taking classes and tours! You meet people who will be friends for life and you get the chance to have fun whilst working hard. And what can beat getting to watch Illuminations every night?
Yummy Jobs were absolutely a big help when I was preparing to get out here. I'm not sure I would have managed it otherwise. Their expertise with regards to the visa process was outstanding and the best thing was that I knew I could count on Yummy Jobs to be available when I had any questions. Of which I had lots! I would definitely recommend Yummy Jobs to anyone who asked; I can't imagine what the process would have been like without them!
All in all it has been an experience that I shall never forget. And maybe one day an experience I shall repeat!

Front Desk
American Hotel Resort Program
After finding Yummy Jobs online I was thrilled to see opportunities to work at Walt Disney World, after applying for the International College Program my adventures began. I worked at the All Star Resort housekeeping. Although hard work, I enjoyed every minute of it. Living and Working for Disney opened my eyes to the opportunities available and after six months in Florida I returned to England wanting more.
I contacted Yummy Jobs once again and after a telephone interview and the visa process I found myself back in Orlando on a year contract working for the largest Marriott Vacation Club Resort. I worked front desk at The Marriott Grande Vista, the skills and knowledge I have gained have set me up for a great career in the hospitality industry.
Working and living in Florida was the best experience of my life to date. To wake up to Sunshine everyday was an added bonus!! I went knowing only a few friends from my previous experience and came back with a whole new family, I have made great friends and met many people from all over the world. I am much more confident, independent and a stronger person.
I would recommend Yummy Jobs to anyone interested in a life changing experience. I am now thinking about my next adventure and the plan is Australia!!
Thank you for all your help!

Yummy Australia
I feel very lucky that I took part in the Australian Internships program! Australian Internships showed me a whole new world, a world of diversity and of harmony between nations. I had the great opportunity to be integrated in a world-class hotel in Melbourne where I learned the Australian way of providing customer service. I gained invaluable new skills and became much more self-confident. But, the best thing about Australian Internships was that I was able to travel the world by living and training with people from around the globe. I learned so much about other cultures and how to respect everyone's differences. Finally I would say “The Australian Internships-your career starts here” has absolutely come true to me as because of this great opportunity I am standing at this stage from where I am able to choose my own destiny. This was an experience of a lifetime! I will never forget all the great times and friends that I have made.

Disney's International College Program, Summer 2009
I worked in Merchandise at Towers and Glow at Epcot. This was an amazing experience. At first when I found out I was going to work for Disney I was so happy and finding out where I was going to work was so exciting, but I was also very nervous. The area in which I worked was so much fun, I got on well with everyone I worked with and made so many new friends. I worked over a few different locations in the area and switched round whilst working, this allowed variety in my work and gave me the opportunity to work inside and outside. The area was based at Showcase Plaza consisting of two stores, two kiosks, glow carts and babycare.
Some days I was merchandising and other days I was stocking. These were both so rewarding in their own ways, and the guest interaction was the best. I have so many amazing stories and magical moments to talk about and I will always remember them. At Towers we had the Pins for the year of "What will you Celebrate?" and so handing them out to guests was very rewarding as their faces were priceless, it always made me very happy to make a guests day so much more magical then it already was. Pin trading was also very magical as the children as well as the adults always got really excited when they realised you have pins to trade.
Working for Disney is not like any other job, it does not feel like work and you go to your shift feeling happy and ready to make magic, I was always excited to start working. I would recommend this program to anyone, and even though you are 3,000 miles away, it does not feel like that. I did not miss home too much and I was always so busy and occupied that I did not have time to miss home. I would loved to have stayed on longer but it just builds up anticipation to return.
I cannot thank Yummy Jobs enough for helping make one of my lifelong dreams to come true and their assistance is very much appreciated as I would not have been able to have such a magical summer without their guidance and help. Also during the summer so many guests were very interested to hear how I came around to working for Disney and it was great to tell them about it as it put a big smile on my face. Now I am home, I talk and think about my summer experience all the time and I have made so many friends. The best part of my role I would have to say is the interaction with the guests and being able to talk to a guest about anything, making their day magical. I always smile when I look back on my summer experience and I hope that I can inspire people to apply for the Program.
Thank you Yummy Jobs

International College Program Summer 2009
I want to thank you and everyone at Yummy Jobs for guiding me to the experience of a lifetime , my Summer ICP Term at Walt Disney World was from May 3- July 31, 2009. As everyone said it would be, my time at Disney was a one-of-a-kind living, learning, working (and playing!) experience. I had a very positive experience in Orlando and would like to share my following "testimony" with any future Yummy Jobs applicants.
The summer I spent living and working at the Walt Disney World Resort was truly an unforgettable experience. For 3 months I welcomed Guests to the Resort's most popular attraction, Toy Story Midway Mania! in Disney's Hollywood Studios. For 3 months I helped bring smiles to the faces of Guests from around the world, every single day. One of my favorite roles was to make a "Magical Moment" for a guest; approach a random family and offer to walk them through the FastPass line, when the queue is probably an hour long! You can't imagine how rewarding it is, towards the end of a long day of work, when you might be feeling a little down, to have a family exit your attraction and tell you: "Thank you! That was the best ride we've been on all day! So worth the wait." It's then you realize why you're really at Disney: to make people happy. The College Program experience changes your perceptions and attitudes to the world around you - you never quite shake off that Pixie Dust, after all... and you never forget the friends you make. I lived with roommates from Vietnam, France and Canada; I met fellow Cast Members from every corner of the world. I'm not kidding when I say some of the best friends I have ever had, I made in Orlando on my College Program. It's a fascinating opportunity to learn about so many unique cultures and different ways of thinking - all united by a desire to make a little magic :). Not to mention all the time you spend playing at the parks! I think I visited the Disney parks and resorts on all my days off - and sometimes before work... where else can you ride a roller coaster just before starting your shift? Or end a long day of work with a bus ride to the Magic Kingdom to watch fireworks over Cinderella's Castle? Walt Disney World is a place like no other. I highly recommend the program for the incredible friendships and one-of-a-kind opportunities you encounter every day. What's more, the application process could not be made any smoother, thanks to the experts at Yummy Jobs. They are there to guide you literally every step of the way, with constant news updates and speedy replies to any question you might have (I had many!!). Getting to Orlando was an exciting experience in itself :). Thank you, Yummy Jobs, for making my Disney dreams come true!

International College Program Summer 2009
I am currently a student at Salford University in England. I participated in the International College Program in the Summer of 2009. I was given a Merchandise role in Epcot underneath Space ship Earth. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I learnt so much about other cultures and the way in which the Disney Corporation is run. The best part of my job was communicating with guests, especially children. Making their vacation as good as it could possibly be was so rewarding. Working for Disney has greatly improved my CV and so I am finding it easier to find jobs. Yummy Jobs was really helpful with sorting out our visas and made the entire process a lot less intimidating. I came back to England with a lot of friends from all parts of the world and can't wait to go back again! I would recommend Yummy Jobs and the Disney International College Program to anyone as it is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Quick Service Food and Beverage
International College Program Summer 2009
Working for Disney was the most rewarding, challenging, fun and
exciting experience I have ever had. The original thought of going
half way across the world to live and work with people you don't know,
in a job you might not even have asked for may seem a little crazy,
but once you arrive and settle into your role it really is the most
amazing experience. I worked in Quick Service Food and Beverage
locations around Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom, which was amazing -
not a job I had particularly wanted, indeed the thought of scooping
fries for 3 months nearly made me end my application, but I persevered
and I am unbelievably glad that I did. The friends I made and the fun
I had during my program were one thing, but working somewhere where
you are paid to sword fight with little pirates, or give princesses
(big and small) the "royal treatment" with free ice cream is amazing.
There wasn't a day of work for which I wasn't excited for, and the
perks speak for themselves. Remember also how selective Disney are in
recruiting - the people you work with will almost certainly be the
friendliest and most fun bunch of folks you are ever likely to meet.
Yummy Jobs were great in the application process, and are always on
hand with a speedy response to any questions - there's nothing they
haven't seen before! If you are at all hesitant about applying, my
advice is to throw your concerns to the wind, go for it - and take the
job no matter what your role may be. Turning it down it could be the
worst decision you ever made.

Character Performer
International College Program 2009
Walt Disney World truly is the most magical place on earth, and I was fortunate enough to spend 3 months on the International College Program working for Mickey Mouse! As a Character Performer I was constantly interacting with the guests, and just to see the families’ smiles, was enough to make the experience worthwhile. Not only did I get to create and build people’s dreams out in Florida, I got to live my own! I met people from all around the world, and I have made true friends for life! It is a experience I will never forget, and I owe it all to the hard work of the staff at Yummy Jobs, who helped me every single step of the way! I cannot wait to hopefully return next summer, to help create and build the dreams of so many from around the world. I had the time of my life!

I've always loved Disney, so when Yummy Jobs offered me a chance to work there I had never been happier. I worked at Tomorrowland which is situated in the Magic Kingdom. My role was in Merchandise, and I believe that my job description would include playing with toys and making people smile. The other Cast Members and I would just stand in the middle of the shop and burst into song and start dancing around. The guests loved it! And because I had so many amazing interactions with guests I won the 'Magical Moments' award and Tomorrowland's 'Galactic Hero' award.
I was so nervous about applying to work at Disney, after all, it's the happiest place on earth, and everyone knows the incredibly high standards they have there. But it really was the best thing that I've ever done. I've made friends from all over the world, and I have memories that will always stay with me.
Apply and you never know, you could be experiencing the magic soon!

ICP Summer 09
Spending my Summer working for Disneyworld was definitely the best decision I have ever made. I had the time of my life and have so many memories I will never forget. I am from North Wales, United Kingdom so Florida was certainly a world away from there, I lived with 5 Canadian girls and made friends with people from all around the world. It was great to experience so many different cultures all in one place and I have made friends for life, who I will most certainly be visiting for holidays!! I worked in Fantasyland in Attractions, although the job was hard work it was very rewarding to make people's holidays extra special. I would certainly recommend everyone who is thinking about applying to go for it, Walt Disney World is most certainly a place where dreams come true, as mine did this summer!!!

ICP Summer 2009
While I was in Disney I learned a lot about smiles. I never really knew just how much all the little things add up, and what a difference just a small thing can do to change and improve a vacation. I also never realised just how organized and prepared Disney Cast Members are. I heard this just about everyday from Guests who were just so happy that everyone was so well trained.
The best part of my role was to see the children’s reactions. They may have been tired from standing in line for an hour, but once you let them into the room to meet the princess, fairy, or character they have been waiting for, they just light up. It is the best feeling in the world knowing that you are part of it.
I felt that Yummy Jobs was great for my entire process with Disney. Anytime I had a question they had the answer, or would direct me to someone who did. I am happy to refer Yummy Jobs to anyone looking for a great job, with help from a great team.
Thanks For everything, and have a Magical Day
