This prestigious Award is made annually to the most outstanding young person under 30 who works in a customer facing role in any sector of hospitality, leisure or tourism in the UK. The career development benefits of participating in this award cannot be underestimated - particularly those that reach the finals. There is also the added benefit of the kudos winning brings to their employers!
The Award consists of three stages. The first involves entrants submitting a two minute video and we're delighted to announce a new deadline for entrants of Monday 7th March 2011, 5pm. Entrants will not be judged on the technical quality of the submitted video. Shortlisted entrants will then be invited to Stage 2 the written paper. The final eight go to stage 3 - an assessment and careers presentation weekend at The Savoy.
The top prize includes a place on the esteemed Lausanne Executive Education - Summer Programme at the renowned Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, plus a Career Development Grant for two years donated by The Savoy Educational Trust. The First and Second Runners up will also receive Career Development Grants for two years also donated by The Savoy Educational Trust and a short course at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne.
