What should I wear for my interview?
Yummy Jobs' answer:
When interviewing, keep in mind any dress codes stated in your interview letter. If no dress code is specified, a suit is always universal for professionalism. It is extremely important to think about the company you will be interviewing with, as international positions may be located in countries with different dress style to your own country. While low-cut tops may be accepted in the UK, they may make American employers question your motives.
Your appearance should be natural. Ladies should avoid extreme hairstyles, extra long nails, and overdoing the make up – keep everything simple. If you can notice you are wearing make up, you may be wearing too much. The interviewer should be impressed by your skills and personality, not be staring at your make up! Gentlemen should keep hair clean cut; extreme hairstyles should be avoided as well. Keep your beard or moustache trimmed.
