OBJECT OF COMPETITION:
 
To offer Young Chefs in academia, the opportunity to win either a Semester or Summer Academy in Switzerland at Swiss Education Group Culinary Arts Academy.
 
TARGETED AT:
 
Levels 2-4 (further Education Colleges) and level 5-7 (Higher Education Universities and Private Culinary Schools).
 
LEVEL 2 - 4 FURTHER EDUCATION
 
Students prepare a YouTube video and enter by sending their URL Link. (Please ask your College Media department to assist in this upload procedure). Should include but not limited to -
• Short introduction of themselves and their future growth aspirations.
• Introduction of their main course dish and either Starter or Dessert.
• Explain the Inspiration behind their choice of dish and any additional reasons for ingredient choices.
• Video of preparation (Mise en Place)
• Cooking and dish creation and presentation.
 
(Edited to be within 15mts maximum duration)
Signed off by College Lecturer.
LEVEL 2 - 4 FIRST PRIZE:
• Swiss Education Academy Two-week experience of culinary Summer camp including flights and accommodation.
• Chef Jacket with Culinary Arts Academy and Yummy Jobs Logo.
• Lecturer accompanied visit to The Mosimann collection in Cesar Ritz and tour of APICUS culinary building Le Bouveret Switzerland including flights and one-night accommodation.
 

 
LEVEL 2 - 4 SECOND PRIZE:
• Lecturer accompanied visit for the Student to The Mosimann collection in Cesar Ritz and tour of APICUS culinary building Le Bouveret Switzerland including flights and one-night accommodation.
• Chef Jacket with Culinary Arts Academy/ Yummy Jobs Logo presented to the Student.
 

 
LEVEL 5 - 7 PRIVATE & HIGHER EDUCATION
(As with Level 2-4 FE, but with the level assessed according to Students ability at Level 5-7).
Students need to prepare a YouTube video and send the URL to:

LEVEL 5 - 7 H.E. FIRST PRIZE:
• Semester in Switzerland at CAA Le Bouveret (with the choice of 5 specialisms) 11 weeks accommodation, meals and flights.
• Chef Jacket with Culinary Arts Academy/ Yummy Jobs Logo presented to the Student.
• Lecturer accompanied visit for Student to The Mosimann collection in Cesar Ritz and tour of APICUS culinary building Le Bouveret Switzerland. One-night accommodation and flights for lecturer.
• Chef Jacket with Culinary Arts Academy/ Yummy Jobs Logo for Student.
 

 
LEVEL 5 - 7 SECOND PRIZE:

PROPOSED TIMELINE OF PROCESSES :
 
> Student to upload video entries closing date for Level 2-4 Friday 22nd May 2020. > Student to upload video entries closing date for Level 5-7 Monday 29th June 2020. > Finalists selected L2-4 Early F.E. June for commencement at SEA Summer School July 2020 start date.
> Finalists selected L5-7 Early H.E. August for commencement in SIS October 2020 start date.
