50 Eggs Hospitality Group is a multi-faceted, full-service creative firm focused on developing iconic brands powered by an engaging company culture and defined by world-class service within the hospitality and entertainment industries.
 
As an Intern with 50 Eggs, you could  be placed at one of 5 forward thinking restaurant concepts which are located in some of the most iconic US hotspots; Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Dallas.
 
CHICA, by Chef Lorena Garcia, within The Venetian in Las Vegas and heart of Miami delivers the robust and vibrant flavors of Latin cuisine throughout the food and beverage offerings combined with a lively weekend brunch and a seductive nightlife vibe.
 
Spring Chicken in Miami is a new kind of eatery. Fresh, wholesome Southern American home cooking matched with a casual, laid back environment.
 
Yardbird Southern Table and Bar - Offering the freshest, most inventive takes on regional Southern fare in a comfortable and welcoming setting, while creating a new standard for service and hospitality. Only the highest quality seasonal produce, meats and ingredients, sourcing locally as well as from farms and purveyors throughout the American South. Operations are located in The Venetian Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami Beach, LA and Singapore.
 
Spritz Restaurant and Bar is a beautiful new restaurant located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. The Venetian Resort’s Italian Riviera-inspired pool deck serves as the backdrop for the chef-driven cuisine and genuine hospitality offered.

At the helm of 50 Eggs’ kitchens stands a team of award-winning talent. Chefs collaboratively serve up consistently exceptional fare across several styles of cuisine, and each individual possesses a diverse background of expertise ranging from fast-casual to catering to fine dining. Offering a training ground like no other, the 50 Eggs Hospitality Group prides itself on the development of future leaders and provides the hands-on experience necessary for anyone who strives for a successful front of house management career.

So, why '50 Eggs'?
In the late 1960’s film classic Cool Hand Luke, Paul Newman’s devil-may-care attitude lands him in a Florida jail for cutting off the heads of parking meters. Outnumbered, Newman is dared by his cellmates to eat 50 hard-boiled eggs in an hour. Fueled by his stubborn instincts and unwillingness to conform, Newman trumps his naysayers and defies all odds – proving that he can accomplish anything he sets his mind to.
 
It’s this ethos on which the company was founded. 50 Eggs is a place where ideas become plans, plans become actions and actions become success and growth. It’s a place where we always find a way to overcome the impossible – a place where we can eat 50 Eggs.
 
50 Eggs is comprised of highly-driven, passionate professionals who share a wide range of strengths and expertise. The Executive Team is proudly composed of a versatile task force of experts focused on company culture, guest service excellence, food and beverage management, training and development programs, and strong sales practices; a set of ingredients that set them apart from the rest.
 

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROGRAM AS A J-1 INTERN or TRAINEE, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
  • Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
  • Speak fluent English.
  • Be available for a 12-month contract.
  • Be currently enrolled in full-time education at a University outside of the United States.
  • Studying towards an undergraduate degree in a Tourism, Hospitality or Events related subject OR have graduated from these studies no more than 12 months prior to your program start date.
  • Be a graduate from an undergraduate degree in a Tourism, Hospitality or Events related subject PLUS at least one year of related work experience in this industry. This experience must have been obtained outside of the United States. 
  • If you have not studied at University level, you must have at least five-years work experience in the tourism/hospitality/events industry to qualify. This experience must have been obtained outside of the United States. 
INTERVIEWING PROCESS
  • Applicants will be required to attend a pre-screen interview via Skype with a member of the Yummy Jobs Team.
  • If successful, applicants will then be required to attend a final interview with the 50 Eggs Team via Skype.

Participants will be required to submit the following fees (after acceptance of an offer):
 
PROGRAM FEE
 
£2,850.00 GBP - 12-month full Placement Program Fee inclusive of Visa Sponsorship, Medical Insurance, U.S SEVIS Fee, Pre-arrival Support and Pre-arranged Job.
 
ADDITIONAL FEES
  • U.S. Embassy appointment fee = $160.00 USD
  • Return flight to the United States = Varies
POST ARRIVAL FEES
  • Weekly accommodation costs = Varies (participants are responsible for sourcing their own housing)
  • Additional supporting funds between $350.00 - $750.00 USD are recommended
