"Convene is truly a great company to choose for your training program. They are at a very exciting stage of the company's life cycle where it's not really a startup anymore but rapidly expanding in both the scale of business and the services provided. Nonetheless it still feels like you have found a second family. After spending my year working events with Convene, I consider each of my colleagues a friend. I have learned a tremendous amount during my time here and would recommend this program to anyone who want's to challenge themselves and pursue a career at the corporate side of hospitality." - Brigitta Gerber, NYC Program 2016/17

Convene might host Fortune 500 companies’ most important meetings and events, but we don’t believe in “business to business transactions”. Rather, we see business as a combination of human to human interactions. We see extraordinary potential in ordinary people, and we fully support your development. Working at Convene means building, learning, collaborating, growing, and celebrating every day. We want you to be relentless, to work on and build things you can be proud of.

The creativity that is cultivated by our spaces and productivity efficiencies lead to amazing ideas and better flow of business. We help our clients work better, enhance collaboration, and support them in achieving their goals. We are honored and grateful to be the host of these occasions, and that’s why we are committed to pursuing better ways to supporting them. We are now starting to reshape the largest industry in the world to better serve the needs of the 21st century. We have thought about what the future of meetings and workplace hospitality looks like, and we’re actively working to build that vision.

"My year at Convene has taken me places I never dreamed was possible. From planning my own 300 person event, to selling my own events, while at the same time seeing New York through all 14 locations throughout Manhattan (including the 64th floor in One World Trade center). I also think that to be part of a company that has such a fascinating and strong company culture has been so rewarding because it really shows that when you work with people who care - you care. I will keep Convene and New York with me wherever I go from here, and I am forever grateful for this opportunity!" - Louise Johansson, NYC Program 2016/17
