This amazing Summer Work and Travel Program allows students studying in the United Kingdom to experience working and living in Orlando, Florida, USA. As a participant in this program, you will spend your summer working for a world-leading brand in the tourism capital of the world - the famous Universal Orlando Resort™.
This unique opportunity will give participants an insight into hospitality and tourism at its best, offering them highly sought-after experiences and the ability to share their culture and make friends for life.

On this program, you will spend your summer working in the heart of Orlando in either of the following roles:
- Park Services
- Quick Service Food & Beverage Attendant
Participants can be located anywhere across the Universal Orlando Resort parks (Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure or Volcano Bay). Participants will be guaranteed a minimum of 32 hours per week, however typical work schedules can be up to 45 hours per week.
The Yummy Jobs Team provides pre-arranged housing for program participants. Accommodation costs will be automatically deducted from payroll and are fully inclusive of bills and Wi-Fi. Participants will be required to share a room with 2 or 3 participants per room. Housing is at maximum 2 miles from your working location and is accessible by foot, taxi/Uber or bus. Participants must pay a housing pre-payment fee six weeks before program arrival. Participants are also able to source their own accomodation.
Participants will be provided with a range of benefits throughout their program, including free admission to Universal Studios®, Island of Adventures®, and SeaWorld® theme parks, along with great discounts on merchandise, food and beverage and park admission tickets for family and friends.
Participants in this program will be required to obtain a J-1 Summer Work and Travel visa through Yummy Jobs and will be able to work for a period of time as outlined by Universal Orlando Resort®. Upon completion of the program, participants will have up to 30 days to travel within the United States. Participants must then return to their home country upon completion of the program.
INTERVIEWING PROCESS
- Selected applicants will receive an invitation to schedule a virtual pre-screen interview.
- Successful candidates will be invited to schedule a final virtual interview with the employer.
In order to be considered, applicants must provide following information clearly on their CV:
- Course and level of study, and whether your course is full time or part time
- Start and end date of Course (month and year is sufficient)
- University currently attended
- Yummy Jobs provides pre-arranged housing for program participants in the vicinity of the work location.
- Accommodation costs are fully inclusive of bills and Wi-Fi.
- Participants will share a room with one or two other person/s (same sex) with 2 / 3 double beds per bedroom.
- Housing is either accessible by foot, taxi/Uber or bus from the work location.
- A housing pre-payment fee six weeks before program arrival.
- Full Housing details provided upon application.
Participants can also choose to source their own accomodation. Those that choose to self-sourced will be subject to a $50 accomodation vetting fee. All self-sourced accomodation will need to be pre-approved by our visa sponsor.
