Participants will be guaranteed a minimum of 32 hours per week, and typical work schedules can be up to 40+ hours per week.
- Course and level of study, and whether your course is full time or part time
- Start and end date of Course (month and year is sufficient)
- University currently attended
INTERVIEWING PROCESS
- Selected applicants will receive an invitation to schedule a virtual pre-screen interview.
- Successful candidates will be invited to schedule a final virtual interview with the employer.
OFFER & VISA APPLICATION PROCESS
- Successful candidates will be emailined their program offer following a succesful final interview
- Once program has been accepted, the visa application process will begin
- Participants are required to submit documentation to the visa sponsor, including a student status letter confirming studies (template provided with offer documentation)
- As part of this program, participants will obtain a J1 Summer Work and Travel visa via Yummy Jobs and our US Department of State approved Visa Sponsor. Participants will be required to attend an in-person US Embassy appointment. Full guidance is provided by Yummy Jobs and the Visa Sponsor.
On the Summer Work and Travel program, participants can chose to either enter into the pre-arranged housing option, or self-source their accomodation.
Pre-Arranged Housing:
The Yummy Jobs Team provides pre-arranged housing for program participants in partnership with 100 Abode. Accommodation costs are fully inclusive of bills, utilities, use of resort facilities and Wi-Fi. Participants will be required to share a room with 3 participants per room (same gender). Housing is nearby to Universal Orlando Resort and working locations can be accessible either by foot, taxi/Uber/Lyft or public bus. Participants must pay a housing pre-payment fee six weeks before program arrival, and are required to sign a housing agreement.
Self-sourced Housing:
Participants are able to source their own accomodation, subject to visa sponsor guidelines. Self-sourced accomodation is reviewed on a case-by-case basis by Yummy Jobs and the visa sponsor, and is subject to an additional $50 vetting charge by the visa sponsor. Guidelines for self-sourced accomodation are subject to change.
