Program Summary

This exciting internship provides international students and recent graduates the opportunity to develop their skill set and industry knowledge with a leading U.S Hospitality employer, whilst at the same time enjoying everything the tourism capital of the World has to offer. As a participant on this program, you will spend 6 or 12 months working at one of six Loews Hotels, all located onsite at the Universal Orlando® Resort.

This unique opportunity will give participants an insight into Culinary arts at its best, offering you a highly sought-after training experience along with the ability to experience cultural exchange in Orlando, Florida.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

During your Internship you will closely follow a unique training plan, there to ensure you are exposed to all areas of Culinary Operations within your chosen resort. Participants will spend time in each of the following areas:

Banquets and Events
Signature Dining
Casual Dining

The pay rate for this program is $19.50 USD per hour and you will be scheduled to work a minimum of 32 hours per week.

Participants on this program will be required to obtain a J-1 Intern or Trainee visa through Yummy Jobs and will be able to train for a period of time as outlined by the Lowes Hotels. Upon completion of the program, participants will have up to 30 days to travel within the United States. Participants must then return to their home country upon completion of the program.

Along with a great working and living experience, participants will be provided with a range of benefits throughout their program, including free admission to both the Universal Studios® and Island of Adventures® theme parks (passes issued upon receipt of Social Security card. This can take up to 4 weeks after arrival on the program), along with great discounts on merchandise, food and beverage and park admission tickets for family and friends.

Applicants will be required to attend a pre-screen interview via video call with a member of the Yummy Jobs Team in order to be considered.
If successful, applicants will be required to attend a final interview with the Lowes Hotels HR Team via video call.
