Located in the heart of St. Louis' bustling Central West End district, The Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta Hotel brings elegant style and old-world glamour to the Gateway City. This regal, Art Deco building is home to a celebrated history dating back to 1922. On this program, we are hiring candidates to take part in a Food and Beverage program.
The Food and Beverage Interns get the chance to train across the various outlets on the Property. From fine dining to gastropub fare restaurants, Sonesta takes pride in its dining options. There are two different restaurants as well as banquets in the hotel where Interns can train and learn how the full operation works;

Chase Club: Savor creative, gastropub fare at Chase Club, prepared with seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients in a sophisticated, hip-casual setting.

The Preston: Introduce your palate to the succulent, finely prepared indulgent dishes at The Preston. The cozy-chic and urban vintage interiors are the first signs you’re in a special place. The eclectic menu of fresh, local ingredients and bright bold flavors say the rest.
The pay rate for this program is $16 USD per hour and you will be scheduled to work a minimum of 32 hours per week.
Employee incentives/benefits: Free meals during their shift, free use of the hotel gym, free parking, and uniforms are provided at no cost.
Participants on this program will be required to obtain a J-1 Intern or Trainee visa through Yummy Jobs and will be able to train for a period of time as outlined by The Chase Park Plaza Sonesta St. Louis. Upon completion of the program, participants will have up to 30 days to travel within the United States. Participants must then return to their home country upon completion of the program.

Participants in the program will be able to stay at The Chase Park Plaza for the first two weeks of the program whilst they source accommodation.
Participants in this program will be expected to source their housing. The Yummy Jobs Team are on hand to provide resources on where to look.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
- Applicants will be required to attend a pre-screen interview via video call with a member of the Yummy Jobs Team to be considered.
- If successful, applicants will be required to attend a final interview with Sonesta HR Team via video call.
