Program Summary


Find your recipe for magic on the Disney International Culinary Training Program as you create lasting impressions and unforgettable dining experiences for guests from around the world. This Program will expand your Culinary horizons through access to best-in-class training from Disney executive chefs.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be placed in one of many different areas, from catering to quick service and baking to fine dining, even the beloved annual festivals at EPCOT.
Disney International Culinary Training Program participants lay a strong foundation for their careers, with experience that will last a lifetime and open doors. 
The Disney International Culinary Training Program is a twelve-month internship at Walt Disney World®, near Orlando, Florida. The program allows international culinary participants to have exposure to all areas of the kitchen operation, including understanding the financial aspects of a food and beverage operation.
Participants are exposed to various food stations within the kitchen and become familiar with the restaurant's menu and products. The participant will refine culinary skills within the kitchen department.
On-the-job culinary training provides an opportunity to apply what the individual knows in real-time and in a real-world setting. Participants will share knowledge of their culture of the country they are from with guests and other team members while working on one of the hundreds of food and beverage outlets across Walt Disney World® property.

One of the most unique aspects of the Disney International Programs is just how international they really are! Every day, you'll have the experience of living and working with cast members from all over the world.
Participants in the Disney International Programs have an incredible opportunity to live alongside people from all over the world in the brand new state-of-the-art, Flamingo Crossings Village. Fully furnished apartments are set among an array of amenities, including fitness centres, transportation systems, swimming pools and computer labs – providing an exciting setting for you to build relationships and create lifelong memories. You can also participate in cast member events and scheduled activities throughout your program. During your personal time, you'll even have the opportunity to visit Disney parks and explore everything that Orlando, Florida has to offer. What more could you want?
Each apartment has 2 bedrooms, you'll have the option to share a bedroom with one other Disney International Programs participant and the cost which includes all utilities is between $191 - $232 per week.
To make the living experience more convenient for you, housing costs are automatically deducted from participants' weekly paychecks. Participants will also help support the exclusive activities and events they'll get to attend throughout the program by contributing a one-time fee of $431 USD at the time of offer (Disney Program Participation Fee).

Here are the costs for successful participants upon acceptance of a position:
  •       SEVIS (Department of State) Fee: $220 USD
  •       DS-160 Visa Application Fee: $160 USD plus visa reciprocity fees (varies)
  •       Medical Insurance: Required by visa regulations. Rates vary (currently around $75 per month)
    • Rates vary (currently around $75 per month. N.B. Full 12 months insurance must be paid upfront prior to arrival)
  •       Program Participation Fee: $431 USD (one-time, non-refundable)
  •       Weekly Housing Fee (rent): currently $191 to $232 USD (based on floor plan)
  •       Round-trip airfare


  • Applicants will be required to attend a pre-screen interview via video call with a member of the Yummy Jobs Team in order to be considered.​
  • If successful, applicants will be required to attend a final interview with Disney's International Recruitment Team via video call.
