Old Edward's Inn and Spa sits atop the scenic southwest plateau of North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains, offering abundant opportunities for relaxation, recreation and adventure. The European style resort cascades along several blocks filled with amenities, music, dining venues and individually appointed guestrooms, suites and cottages.

The Old Edwards Inn Culinary Training Program provides university students and young professionals with the opportunity to train alongside very talented chefs for a period of up to 12-months.

A Scholarship fund is available to sponsor Program Fees for selected  applicants, providing access to a AAA Four Diamond property, and a unique insight into business practices that make Old Edwards Inn & Spa winner of several accolades and awards which include;

During a Culinary Internship with Old Edwards Inn, you will be provided with on-the-job exposure in the following rotations:
  • Grill Station/Hot Line
  • Kitchen Leadership/Purchasing/Storeroom
  • Pastry Operations
  • Garde Manager
Program participants will earn $16.00 USD per hour and will be scheduled a minimum of 32 hours work per week.

Housing for this program is provided by the Old Edwards Inn and Spa, you will be housed as well as sharing a room with fellow program participants in a fully furnished house or apartment complex.

 

Housing is payroll deducted at a rate of $150.00 USD per week inclusive of all utilities*.

Upon arrival into the USA, you will be greeted by a member of the Old Edwards Inn and Spa team and transported to your housing. 
INTERVIEW PROCESS
  • Applicants will be required to attend a pre-screen interview via video call with a member of the Yummy Jobs Team in order to be considered.​
  • If successful, applicants will be required to attend a final interview with the Old Edwards Inn & Spa HR Team via video call.
 
 
 

Old Edwards Inn & Spa are fully sponsoring the Program Fee for this Program! Applicants will be required to pay a $250 USD non-refundable application fee + $30 USD bank wire transfer fee, payable upon acceptance onto the Program. Please visit our Program Costs page for further information.
