YJ visits The University of Derby!
The YJ Team have had an exciting week getting to know the fantastic students at the University of Derby’s Buxton Campus.
On Tuesday, Anna and Luke held a Disney Day – a morning of Disney goodies, freebies, videos and conversation about the opportunity to work and study at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando FL. In the afternoon, the YJ Team presented to students about Disney’s Academic Exchange Program, and finished by interviewing enthusiastic students who were looking for a placement year.
Later in the week, Adam visited the Buxton campus and students and staff were lucky enough to watch a demonstration by Nando Belmonte, Complex Executive Chef at and Loews Royal Pacific Resort and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando.
Chef Nando has been an instrumental player in the development, implementation and ongoing operation of several of Loews Hotels' most successful food and beverage outlets at Universal Orlando Resort. This was an amazing, one-offopportunity for culinary arts and hospitality students to network and learn from the best in the business.
